Advantages & Benefits

There are a number of advantages and benefits with underfloor heating.

SPACE AND ECONOMY
Every square metre of your home can be fully utilised. It has been proven that energy saving of between 15 and 40% can be achieved with underfloor heating (compared to a traditional radiator system).

HYGIENE
Underfloor heating will help to reduce dust and house dust mites.  This is a benefit to asthma sufferers. Moisture content is too low to support dust mites.

AESTHETICS AND LABOUR SAVING
You can design your home to suit your own needs rather than that of your heating engineer. Cleaning floors is easier and wet floors dry quickly. Prevents discoloration of paintwork, peeling of paper etc.

Radiant heat will provide the highest comfort levels at an even temperature throughout.  Compared to radiator systems, there is no noise. No annoying ticking as pipes expand in floor voids.
