Installation of the Reliance Control Pack for our Underfloor Heating Manifolds

Here is a guide to installing the Reliance Control Pack for our Underfloor Heating Manifolds:

Slip the 11/2″ pump nut over the flange on the flow connection elbow and then connect the elbow to the flow manifold by means of the 1″ MBSP connection onto the flat faced union connection (ZCON 970 200) previously installed, remembering to fit the 1″ fibre washer (ZWAS 219 042) beforehand.

Slide the pump (PUMP 950 003) into position between the 2 flat faced connections ensuring that the direction of flow is correct and that the 2 rubber washers are in position.

Tighten the pump union connections work with manifolds of all types on 210mm centres. The Manifold Control Pack is a bolt-on unit providing a quick and simple system to install.

INSTALLATION

Before beginning the installation firmly fix the distribution manifolds to the wall, leaving enough room beside the manifold to fit the control pack (see dimensions). Before installing the Manifold Control Pack, identify all of the components in the pack.

Assemble the 1″MBSP x flat faced adapters (ZCON 970 200) to both the flow and return manifold ball valves taking care to insert the 1″ fibre washer (ZWAS 219 042) beforehand.

Tighten the adapters into the ball valves by removing the slip nut (ZNUT 970 200) and using the flats on the adapter itself to tighten into the ball valve and then re-fit the slip nut, alternatively the adaptor can be fitted using a 16mm allen key.

Connect the Thermomix UFH control valve (HEAT 970 200) to the return manifold by means of the 1″ MBSP connection onto the flat faced union connection (ZCON 970 200) previously installed, remembering to fit the 1″ fibre washer (ZWAS 219 042) beforehand.
