Installing underfloor heating in below zero temperatures

It’s been a long winter – again we’re all having freezing temperatures and the whole country has seen snow.

A reminder that unless the property is weather tight with doors and windows fitted, avoid filling the ufh systems with water.  It’s not worth the risk.  Water will freeze if subjected to below zero Celcius temperatures – regardless of the quality of pipe around the water.

Use an air compressor instead for your pressure testing.
