Underfloor Heating Mixing Valve Set Up

The thermostatic blending valve of our underfloor heating systems has a number of preset temperature settings. These range between 35°C and 60°C, as shown below:

Min 35°C

1 40°C

2 44°C

3 48°C

4 50°C

5 54°C

6 58°C

Max 60°C

Initial settings of the thermostatic blending valve (after the heat up/screed drying period) should provide the following temperatures at the flow pipe control unit: 40-48°C for Screeded floors, and 55-60°C for Timber floors.

These initial settings can then be adjusted to provide the best temperature for your comfort.
